The class, Section ID and sex used for evolution are those of the character who feeds the final item before evolution — not necessarily the Mag’s owner.
The trigger rows at the bottom of each card show event · effect · activation chance (no row means no trigger for that event). Effects are Invincibility / Resta / Shifta & Deband. The solid bar shows the base chance; the lighter section shows the maximum increase from Synchro.
Death triggers are disabled in Blue Burst, so they are not listed here.

Costumes and starting Mag colours

At character creation, the starting Mag colour depends on the chosen class and costume coordinates. Coordinates use row–column notation: for example, 2-1 means row 2, column 1 of the costume selector. If a cell lists several coordinates, any of them gives that colour.— means that class cannot get the colour at character creation, but it can still appear on Mags dropped from boxes.

Triggers and Synchro

A Mag’s support effects are governed by its Trigger conditions; their activation chance rises with Synchro and their strength depends on IQ.

Trigger conditions

  • The 10% HP trigger can activate when a character loses more than 20% of their maximum HP in one frame and is left below 10% of maximum HP (for example, GAL WIND’s special costs 21%).
  • The boss-room trigger is self-explanatory.
  • The 100 PB trigger is self-explanatory.

Synchro

Synchro caps at 120% and drops by 5% each time the character dies. For its effect on Photon Blast power, see the mechanics page’s PB parameter reference.

Mag Synchro rules:

  • +: base chance + tiered bonus
  • −: tiered bonus only
  • None: Synchro is ignored. If a Mag’s trigger effect has no +/−, this rule can be ignored; see Mags )
SynchroChance bonus
0-30%+0%
31-60%+15%
61-80%+25%
81-100%+30%
101-120%+35%

IQ

IQ affects the Mag’s healing and support effects. For Photon Blast damage, Leilla healing, Mylla & Youlla support levels and chain/donation examples, see Game mechanics: Mag Photon Blasts (PB).
