11th Anniversary
The new quests and Anniversary Token system planned for this year have been postponed. In 2026, MAE, August Atrocity and the four badge tiers remain, with conveniences including shared badge rolls and automatic bank deposits.
Eleven changes for the 11th anniversary
Quests and currency remain unchanged for now. The main changes concern badge distribution, collection, milestones and the Gold Shop.
Badges no longer occupy an enemy’s normal drop slot. An enemy can drop both an ordinary item and a badge.
Each enemy rolls for a badge once, and party members receive the same badge from that enemy.
In multiplayer parties using Classic drops, successful badge drops appear on the ground.
Badges go into the character or shared bank, falling to the ground only if there is no space.
Automatic deposits are shown on the right of the screen. Each character can toggle notifications with /badgenotify .
Automatically deposited badges still play the rare-drop sound if it is enabled in the Ephinea Launcher.
Badges on the ground bob gently, making them easier to distinguish from other red boxes.
MAE and AA clear-reward badges go into the character or shared bank, or into the inventory if neither has space.
Milestones have been reordered and slightly expanded, while remaining concentrated so each unlock provides a larger overall reward.
This year’s milestone targets are estimated from previous anniversary events.
Heart of Flight Fan and Blue Powder Coating have been added at 99 Gold each.
The quest lineup is unchanged
The event version of Maximum Attack E still consists of 11 short quests lasting around 5–10 minutes, with no failure conditions and open to all players.
Maximum Attack E: Cave
Maximum Attack E: Mine
Maximum Attack E: Ruins
These four MAE quests still count Ultimate clears.
Maximum Attack E: Spaceship
Maximum Attack E: CCA
Maximum Attack E: Seabed
Maximum Attack E: Tower
These five MAE quests still count Ultimate clears.
Maximum Attack E: Desert
These two MAE quests still count Ultimate clears.
Choosing among the 11 MAE quests
Organised by enemy density, consistency and notable rare drops. This table helps with quest and party selection; it is not an official drop guarantee. Check the current drop tables for your Section ID before starting.
Combines experience, high-quality common drops from Subterranean Desert 3 and rare targets. Good for sustained Goran Detonator and Girtablulu hunting.
High Mericarol and Gibbles density makes this ideal for V502, Heaven Punisher, L&K38 Combat and Psycho Wand hunts.
Strong enemies such as Delbiter are concentrated here. A coordinated party can clear quickly;
can target Psycho Wand, Yunchang and Zanba together.
More direct than regular Temple quests, making it useful for El Rappy and Mil Lily hunts;
、
can target Vivienne, while
can also target Rambling May.
| Episode | MAE | Farming characteristics | Section IDs and target examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| EP1 | Forest | Easy and RA-friendly for solo play. Concentrated Tollaw, Gulgus and Hildelt spawns make quick clear rewards accessible. | |
| EP1 | Cave | Many Govulmers and Grass Assassins, but numerous rooms slow runs down. No Pan Arms. | Better for raising the lowest quest score; usually not a first choice for pure farming efficiency. |
| EP1 | Mine | Dense Canabin, Canune and Baranz spawns; particularly good for focused Baranz hunts. | |
| EP1 | Ruins | Many Merlans and a more consistent route than some permanent Ruins quests. Ruins 3 has high-quality common drops, but no Delsabers appear. | |
| EP2 | Temple | A direct layout with little travel; most enemies can be farmed more efficiently than in permanent Temple quests. | |
| EP2 | Spaceship | Many Delsabers and Baranzes; an RA with a Hell weapon can solo efficiently. No Gran Sorcerers. | |
| EP2 | CCA | Extremely high Mericarol and Gibbles density per minute makes this one of the best MAE quests for targeted hunts. | |
| EP2 | Seabed | Concentrated Sinow Zoa, Sinow Zele, Deldepth and Delbiter spawns. A healing station along the route lets you use traps freely. | |
| EP2 | Tower | Many Merikles, Mericuses and Gi Gues. High-quality common drops can include high-Hit Caliburs. | |
| EP4 | Crater | Many Ba Bootas, Astarks and Dorphons, but usually less efficient than Desert for Limiter hunting. | |
| EP4 | Desert | Dense Goran Detonator, Zu, Girtablulu, Merissa AA and Pazuzu spawns offer strong experience and secondary rewards. |
The four badge tiers remain
Badges can drop from enemies in all areas, not just event quests. They are more common at higher difficulties.
Basic shop purchases and Thief gambles; exchange 10 Bronze for 1 Silver.
Materials, novelty weapons and Paint; exchange 10 Silver for 1 Gold.
High-tier fixed exchanges and random untekked weapons from Hunter.
Give one to Guide to choose a top-tier reward.
Normal drop-rate modifiers and party size do not affect badge rates. Rappies that are scared away rather than killed do not drop badges.

Totals combine all four Weekly Boosts, active together during the anniversary, with unlocked milestones. Normal drop-rate modifiers, party size and these general boosts do not raise badge rates; only event-specific modifiers affect badges.
Each quest tracks Ultimate clear points separately. A multiplayer clear awards as many points as there are party members.
Each clear of August Atrocity #1 or #2 adds 2 points to the MAE quest with the lowest score.
Unlocked boosts apply to all areas, not just anniversary quests.

The anniversary redesign is postponed, not cancelled
The following plans come from the 2025 redesign announcement and are not the live 2026 rules.
Permanent MAE quests will remain, and August Atrocity will still return for anniversaries. New event quests will have similar difficulty, without a Forest-only entry-level route.
Each selected quest will award its own Token. Shop purchases will require combinations of Tokens, encouraging participation in all event quests.
Players can trade Tokens from their preferred quests instead of running every quest themselves. Colours and quantities in the official examples are not final.
Equivalent rare Platinum Badge rewards, server milestones and unlockable boosts will remain. Existing anniversary badges will stop dropping, but their exchange quest will stay available.
