03Acquisition
Defeat Kireek in From the Depths after the One Person quest chain. A separate option is the Anniversary Badge Shop’s offer for 5 Anniv. Bronze Badge when that exchange is available.
Quest walkthrough
- Use One Person mode and the Hunter’s Guild Side Story menu. Keep the quest chain on one difficulty; progress is difficulty-specific. Finish required conversations before claiming the quest reward. To replay greyed-out quests, finish the remaining Side Story quests on that difficulty.
- At the first clear of Dr. Osto's Research, refuse to give Sue your name. Giving it selects the RAGOL RING storyline instead. Replaying does not reset this saved choice; use another difficulty for the other route.
- Unsealed Door: find Sue near the end of Mine 2 and speak to her before clearing.
- Waterfall Tears: after defeating Anna, continue north past her location to find and defeat Kireek before turning in the quest.
- Black Paper: defeat Kireek again in the dark room in Cave 1, then clear the quest.
- From the Depths: finish the Ruins 3 escort so Ash leaves to seek survivors. Before claiming the guild reward, return to Ruins 2, defeat Kireek a third time, and collect SOUL EATER.
