Enemy weapon conversion and Hit upgrades

← Back to Home

What is Hit%?

Hit is the fifth weapon attribute, distinct from Native/A.Beast/Machine/Dark. Although displayed as a percentage, it adds the same amount directly to weapon ATA (for example, 10% Hit = +10 ATA), against all enemies.

Paganini’s normal weapon attribute service cannot add Hit. Dr. Montague can add Hit to enemy weapons, up to a maximum of 50%.

  • Select Side Quest.

1.3 Complete these five quests

1. Battle Training

2. Claiming a Stake

3. Magnitude of Metal

4. Secret Delivery

  • Complete the first three quests to unlock this quest.

5. Doc’s Secret Plan

  • This quest also requires completing the first three quests.

1.4 Convert enemy parts

1. Recommended quest: Dr. Osto’s Research

  • Enter the quest and go straight to Dr. Montague to convert your enemy parts without completing the main objective.

2. If you have already completed Dr. Osto’s Research

  • You can still find Dr. Montague in Unsealed Door to convert your parts.

3. If you have completed both quests

  • Complete all One Person side quests. You can then replay them freely and return to have your parts converted.

2. Adding Hit to enemy weapons

2.1 Prerequisite quest

During the government quest 9-5 "The Chosen (1/2)", you must trigger both conversations with Dr. Montague:

1. The large circular room in Desert 1

  • Defeat every enemy within 5 minutes of entering to trigger the cutscene in which Dr. Montague appears, then speak to him.

2. Before returning to Pioneer 2

  • Speak to Dr. Montague again to satisfy the prerequisite for the later quest.

2.2 Dr. Montague’s Hit service

In Episode 4’s Claire’s Deal 5, speak to Dr. Montague and spend PC (Photon Crystal) to add Hit to enemy weapons.
